The Armenian Environmental Front has posted on its Facebook page that the situation near Amulsar gold mine is very tense as of midnight, adding the following:
“While some of the citizens protesting against the Amulsar gold mine project were in Yerevan, about 100 guards blocked the protesters, moved the car and now want to enter into the territory with machinery.
The local police are protecting Lydian Armenia’s machinery.”
