The chief doctor of the No. 1 Ambulance Hospital of Omsk, Russia, where Alexei Navalny is kept, refused to allow the opposition politician to be transferred to a German clinic. Kira Yarmysh, spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Foundation, noted about this on Twitter, Medusa reports.

"The chief doctor announced that Navalny could not be transferred. The decision of the relatives is not enough to transfer him," she noted.

Yarmysh stated that the ban on Navalny's transfer threatens his life. "Staying at the Omsk hospital without equipment, with an unperformed diagnosis, is deadly dangerous in his current state," she said.

Director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, Ivan Zhdanov, in his turn, said that at first the doctors were preparing documents and equipment for Navalny's transfer, but then they "changed" them.
