The provincial crisis management center on Thursday received a report that a 14-member expedition had climbed Mount Aragats of Armenia, five of them were near Lake Kari, whereas nine others were in the middle of the southern and eastern peaks of the mountain. One of them had injured her leg, and they could not get down due to the impassability of the area.

The rescuers who were dispatched to the scene found these persons in the middle of the southern and eastern peaks of the mountain, led them to a rescue vehicle, and then took them to their car.

Gayane V., who had injured her leg, refused medical treatment.
