YEREVAN. – As of Friday morning, 158 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of cases has reached 42,477 in the country, according to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Also, six more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total 842 cases.

Two more cases of coronavirus patients dying from other illnesses were recorded in Armenia in the past one day, and the respective death toll in the country is 253 now.

A total of eight people died in one day, and the respective death toll has reached 1,095 in Armenia.

The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 217, the total number of people who have recovered so far is 35,693, and the number of people currently being treated is 5,689—which is a drop by 67 in one day.

A total of 1,639 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Armenia over the past one day, and 192,199 tests have been performed to date.
