YEREVAN. – As of Saturday morning, 139 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of cases has reached 42,616 in the country, according to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Also, eight more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total 850 cases.
One more case of coronavirus patients dying from other illnesses was recorded in Armenia in the past one day, and the respective death toll in the country is 254 now.
Thus, a total of nine people died in one day, and the respective death toll has reached 1,104 in Armenia.
The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 214, the total number of people who have recovered so far is 35,907, and the number of people currently being treated is 5,605—which is a drop by 84 in one day.
A total of 1,494 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Armenia over the past one day, and 193,693 tests have been performed to date.
