About an hour ago, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived at Independence Palace near which demonstrators are holding a protest, RIA Novosti reports.
A video has been posted showing Lukashenko stepping out of a helicopter with a gun in his hand.
Earlier, demonstrators had moved from “City-Hero Minsk” monument towards Lukashenko’s residence (Independence Palace), but their movement was blocked by special detachment officers and special equipment.
