make preferableYEREVAN. – The complete demolition of the building of Dzyunik Refrigerator LLC through planned detonation has failed several times already.
The first attempt to blow up the building was made on July 8, and then similar attempts were repeated on July 24 and 28. As a result of these three detonations, however, only part of the building had collapsed.
The building “survived” Monday’s planned detonation, too, but it partially collapsed shortly after the blast.
A 17-story multifunctional building is planned to be constructed on the site of this building.
More than 1,000 tons of food was damaged as a result of a fire that broke out in this building in August 2019.
Dzyunik Refrigerator company had been put up as collateral to secure the loan obligation of another company. But the company has been declared bankrupt, in the process of bankruptcy, a construction company acquired the building of Dzyunik Refrigerator LLC. And this construction company had applied to the Yerevan city hall for permission to demolish the building by detonation.
