President of Moldova Igor Dodon confirmed his readiness to be the first citizen of the republic to test the Russian COVID-19 vaccine.
His remarks came at a meeting with Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov, Dodon wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, they have touched upon the issue of obtaining a Russian COVID-19 vaccine, and in this regard, "I confirmed my readiness to test it myself."
The two also discussed issues related to the development of a strategic partnership between the two states, and the parties spoke in favor of their further strengthening. Besides, Dodon expressed gratitude to Russia for its willingness to donate 40-50 thousand tons of fuel to the drought-affected farmers of Moldova.
