YEREVAN. – Corruption in Armenia shall either be impossible or have such a low level that it will not be on the agenda as a public issue. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote this on his Facebook page, and also posted a video of his meeting with members of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption.

"The vision of a society free of corruption is enshrined in the program of the government of the Republic of Armenia.

Strategically, what is important for us not to have a fight against corruption, but to have clear working mechanisms in place to prevent corruption, given that corruption in Armenia shall either be impossible or have such a low level that it will not be on the agenda as a public issue. Naturally, no case of corruption should be left undisclosed.

I hope that we will be able to solve the problems that are specified in our anti-corruption strategy as soon as possible," Pashinyan said, in particular, in his speech at the aforesaid meeting.
