Gevorg Muradyan has been elected Chairman of the Yerevan State University (YSU) Board of Trustees, YSU spokesperson Gevorg Emin-Teryan informed about this on Facebook.

Earlier, he had announced that Michael Malkhasyan had been elected secretary of the Board.

The first meeting of the new YSU Board of Trustees was convened Tuesday.

But the media were not allowed to attend this event, citing the state of emergency commandant's decision—based on the COVID-19 situation in Armenia—that no more than 40 people could be in one place at the same time.
