Moscow is hosting a meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan, Sergei Lavrov, and Jeyhun Bayramov, Russian MFA reported.

Lavrov congratulated Bayramov on the appointment and expressed confidence that his experience in previous posts and his focus on implementing the course in relations that the presidents set in the course of their regular contacts will ensure continuity and further deepening of the strategic partnership.

Earlier Bayramov told TASS that one of the most important topics of the talks would be the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
