President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today held a remote conversation with High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia Zareh Sinanyan.

The head of state touched upon the situation in Lebanon and emphasized that it is very important for all Armenians to combine their efforts to solve the problems facing the Armenian community. According to Haroutyunyan, overcoming the hardships is an urgent issue, but if there are Armenian families who wish to move from Lebanon, it would be better, if they returned to Armenia. In this context, Haroutyunyan talked about the initiatives of the Government of Artsakh.

Sinanyan stated that Artsakh, with its tangible participation, showed that it fully shares the burden of the pan-Armenian issues and that Artsakh’s further empowerment must be viewed as an issue on the national agenda on the path to resisting bigger challenges.
