The European Union will allocate 2 million euros to support injured of protests in Belarus, TASS reported referring to the European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.

The money will be distributed in the coming days through non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support victims of the protests in Belarus.

Earlier, the EC announced that 1 million euros of these allocations will go to the development of civil society, 2 million euros - to support victims of the protests, 50 million euros - to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
