Deputy Minister of Environment of Armenia Vardan Melikyan today submitted his resignation letter. This is what former Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan posted on his Facebook page, adding the following:

“I thank Vardan Melikyan for cooperating and would like to remind that he quit his job as an employee of a reputable international organization and joined the difficult efforts to build a better Armenia.

Thank you for your sense of responsibility, dedication, heartfelt and professional work, innovative and revolutionary ideas and for coordinating the implemented reforms, Vardan.”
