As a result of reforms in Armenia’s healthcare system and the merger of the Nork Infection Clinical Hospital and Republican Center for AIDS Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, the Nork Infection Clinical Hospital has been renamed as National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID).

The past and current reforms in the healthcare system will be ongoing and to the benefit of public health.

The NCID is not just a merger of two medical institutions. It is also called for pan-national goals, the implementation of new and all-embracing ideas that will convey new quality and create a platform for development in the healthcare system.
