Turkey’s destabilizing policy and aggression pose a threat to all of its neighboring regions. This is what Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told Interfax.

When asked if Turkey’s support to Baku is ‘pouring fuel on the fire’ and if Turkey is repressing the possibility of a settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the minister stated that the international community has made several calls to put an end to the violence after the events of July 12, 2020.

“Turkey was the only country that tried not to ease the tension and tried to destabilize the region. Turkey’s destabilizing policy and aggression pose a threat to all of its neighboring regions. Today, Turkey is trying to lead its destabilizing policy in the South Caucasus, and this sparks serious concern. Turkey continues to pose a threat to Armenia’s security with its actions. In this regard, Armenia will work on strengthening its security, including through cooperation with its partners,” Mnatsakanyan said.
