YEREVAN. – Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to Past newspaper’s information, especially in European organizations are quite concerned about the recent steps taken by the authorities in the ongoing judicial system in the RA.

In particular, according to our source, the president of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio recently expressed his concerns over the recent actions and steps taken against the judges of the CC [Constitutional Court].

Our source has informed that Buquicchio had a telephone conversation with the political leadership of Armenia about his concerns, but, according to the same source, the parties agreed not to issue an official statement regarding the conversation that took place.

Moreover, no matter how much the fact of the telephone conversation became known to some circles, the details of the conversation are kept as secret as possible.
