As already reported, the entry into force of the Law on Civil Forfeiture of Illegal Assets was followed by the procedure for adding the positions of prosecutors performing functions envisaged by the Law and deputy of the Prosecutor General of Armenia in charge of coordinating the sphere of functions for civil forfeiture of illegal assets.

Within the scope of this, by today’s order of Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan, Srbuhi Galyan has been appointed to the position of deputy of the Prosecutor General in charge of coordinating the sphere of functions for civil forfeiture of illegal assets.

The candidates for prosecutors had taken a two-month course at the Academy of Justice of Armenia. The classes are over, and according to the plan, the Prosecutor General will also appoint candidates to the positions of prosecutors of the subdivision bestowed with the functions for civil forfeiture of illegal assets at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
