According to media reports, Gagik Tsarukyan—chairman of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), MP, and business tycoon—met with second President Robert Kocharyan, during which the possibilities of cooperation in the political field were discussed.

But in a conversation with Yerevan.today, Viktor Soghomonyan, the head of Kocharyan's office, dismissed these reports. "Such a meeting did not take place; it is misinformation," he said.

To note, Tsarukyan's spokesperson—and PAP MP—Iveta Tonoyan also has dismissed these reports.
