At Thursday’s Cabinet session, the government made a decision to carry out redistribution in the law on the 2020 State Budget of Armenia.

The matter was presented by Gor Melikyan, First Deputy Minister of High Technological Industry, who noted that the adoption of the draft decision stems from the requirements of the government's decision to approve the 17th measure to neutralize COVID-19’s economic consequences in Armenia, and whose objective is to assist in the maintenance of jobs at individual high-tech enterprises in the country.

Accordingly, as per the aforesaid draft decision, it is necessary to direct all the unused 888 million drams from the state budget to this 17th measure.

It is planned to provide about 61 grants.
