At Thursday’s Cabinet session of the government of Armenia, minister of finance Atom Janjughazyan announced that this year's reserve fund was practically completely overburdened at the moment.
Janjughazyan noted that the matter was regarding funding, and he suggested finding a solution to increase the reserve fund before the final signing, and then approving this new program.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, who is chairing the government session, explained that the matter was about purchasing certain COVID-19 protection equipment for general education institutions of Armenia, and that they should try to clarify the source for the respective funding before signing.
