The foreign minister gave the same answers that he had given last week. This is what protesting Armenians demanding to leave for Russia told reporters in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia after their meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

“My fellow protesters and I will decide what step to take next. We don’t know what the government is doing. In our opinion, the government doesn’t want to solve the issue since a solution is not favorable. The foreign minister repeated the same question and asked us why our relatives aren’t coming to Armenia, but I’m asking why have citizens of Armenia gone to Russia. Nobody is discussing the issue on opening the border with Armenia. However, they should know that those who leave Armenia won’t return. Do I have to undergo a plastic surgery to look thirty years younger so that I can be hired?” one of the citizens said.

During the meeting, the foreign minister said he can’t make empty promises to the citizens and stated that even though Armenia is leading negotiations over the opening of the border, there is no specific period.
