The Investigative Committee of Armenia has completed its investigation of a criminal case that was launched into a murder and an attempted murder by a 45-year-old man.
On May 10, this man had entered a house in Armavir town, fired—with a hunting rifle—at a 29-year-old resident of this house, and fled. The shooting victim had died on the spot.
On the same day, this 45-year-old man had arrived at a plot of land in Geghakert village of Armavir Province, and decided to eat some strawberries there and then continue on his way. However, he had gotten into an argument with the owner of this land, and during which he stabbed him several times and fled.
This 45-year-old man has been charged with murder and attempted murder.
Detention was selected as a pretrial measure against him.
The investigation of this criminal case is over and it has been sent to court.
