During the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina in Washington, the US demanded that President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic recognize Kosovo’s independence. As reported Serbia’s Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, who is a member of the Serbian delegation, ‘the head of the republic is under serious pressure’, TASS reports.

“We have received the worst document since the launch of the negotiations with Pristina. There were 16 points, the tenth of which implies bilateral recognition. There are very aggressive responses following the statements of not only the Albanians, but also our statements. There are very few topics related to the economy,” Mali told reporters in Washington, as reported Вечерне новости newspaper.

“There is big pressure. These topics are very serious topics for us. President Vucic is battling, but let’s see if he will resist. We’re going to fight until the end, and as the President said, giving up is not an option,” the minister said during a break from the negotiations.
