All 19 persons who received diplomatic passports with the permission of PM are civil servants, Armenian MFA spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan noted.

“All 19 persons who received diplomatic passports are civil servants,” Naghdalyan said, adding that this figure is 90% lower than the number of passports issued on the same basis until May 2018.

Earlier, Anna Naghdalyan noted that at the moment 1,127 persons possess valid diplomatic passports of Armenia. At the same time, 886 of them are diplomats and attachés involved in the diplomatic service, as well as members of their families, 129 are deputies of the National Assembly, 93 are government officials. Since May 2018, 783 diplomatic passports have been granted so far.
