Athens views as a propaganda the reports spread by the Turkish media about the transfer of 40 Turkish tanks to near the Greek land border along the Maritsa River. Greek government spokesperson Stelios Petsas noted about this on Sunday.
"First of all, it has not been confirmed, and it seems to be the news spread by the Turkish propaganda machine, which was carried out for internal reasons. Besides, the number of tanks is not so large that they would lead to a significant change in terms of the deployment of forces at Maritsa," he said.
