The National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia received a report Sunday that that a natural gas leak had occurred with ensuing fire on the seventh floor of a building in Yerevan.

It was found out that there was a leak from a natural gas cylinder—and with ensuing fire—in an apartment of this building.

The apartment’s resident, Haykanush Y. (born in 1960), had sustained burns on her hands and head. She was taken to the National Burn Center.

The fire was extinguished by local forces.

But the wall of the apartment corridor was damaged by the heat.
