Ambassador of Armenia to France Hasmik Tolmajyan has tweeted that President of France Emmanuel Macron has awarded Astrid Panossian the National Order of Merit.

“I express my warmest congratulatory remarks to Astrid Panossian for being recognized as the Knight of the Merita National Order and being conferred the National Order of Merit during the beautiful ceremony held at Elysee Palace.

Astrid Panossian is the co-founder of France’s La Republique En Marche! (Forward, Republic) centrist and liberal political party and has also held the positions of Advisor to the Minister of the Economy, Industry and Digital Sector and member of the staff of the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and the Digital Sector.

Panossian is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Paris and holds an MA in Public Administration. She has also served as an advisor for AT Kearney consulting firm and the general secretary of Groupama. Since 2015, she is the General Secretary of Unibail-Rodamco.
