Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan today received Chargé d'Affaires of the British Embassy in Armenia Helen Fazey, as reported on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The defense minister congratulated Fazey on the start of her diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished more achievements for the development of Armenia-UK relations, particularly in the defense sector. During the meeting, Tonoyan expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation and voiced hope that a new sweep will be brought to the cooperation after mitigation of the restrictions due to the pandemic.

The defense minister attached special importance to the holding of bilateral military-political discussions, touched upon the developments unfolding in the region and shared his concerns about the situation regarding the security environment.
