Armenia has recorded 46 cases of alcohol intoxication (methanol) in the period between August 31 and September 10, and 19 of the cases have resulted in death.

Out of the 46 cases, 29 were recorded in Armavir Province (10 deaths), 15 in Yerevan (7 deaths) and 2 in Kotayk Province (2 deaths)

Three patients are still undergoing treatment, including 1 in extremely critical condition (blindness) at Erebuni Medical Center, 1 in extremely critical condition at University Hospital No 1 and 1 in critical condition at Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.
