The second round of parliamentary elections has kicked off in Iran on Friday, ISNA news agency reported.

Voting started at 8am local time and will last 10 hours. But if necessary, it can be extended for an hour or two.

The names of the remaining 11 out of 290 MPs shall be decided with these elections.

The first round of parliamentary elections in Iran took place on February 21.

And in April, the second round was to take place in 10 of the 208 constituencies, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was moved to September 11.
