YEREVAN. – Between August 31 and September 12, a total of 46 cases of alcohol poisoning—from methanol—were registered in Armenia, 21 of them were fatal, whereas 25 victims were discharged from hospitals after receiving treatment.
In order to avoid such unfortunate incidents, the Ministry of Health urges people to refrain from using alcoholic beverages of unknown origin and non-factory production.
