By the order of Human Rights Defender of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Artak Beglaryan, Gegham Stepanyan was appointed acting Executive Secretary of the Office of the Human Rights Defender today, as reported the Office of the Human Rights Defender.

Stepanyan was born in Stepanakert, has graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at Yerevan State University, has served in the Defense Army of Artsakh, has lectured at the Chair of History and Political Science at Artsakh State University and has served as Assistant to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh.
