The press service of the German government reports that German Chancellor Angela Merkel has held talks with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan via a videoconference, adding that the parties also discussed the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, according to TASS.
The press release states that, in regard to the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Chancellor noted the need for cessation of fire and to hold negotiations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
