Greece recalled its ambassador to Azerbaijan after groundless and insulting statements by the Azerbaijani authorities that Greece is tolerant of militants on its territory, the Greek Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The Greek Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to the Azerbaijani ambassador to Greece and recalled the Greek ambassador to Azerbaijan to Athens for consultations, according to the report.
