Armenian students to participate in Microsoft’s technology competition

An Armenian team will leave for New York in July to participate in Microsoft Corp.’s Imagine Cup, the world’s premier student technology competition, Asbarez newspaper reports.

A team from the Yerevan State University will be among 400 participants from 73 countries who will compete in different categories, such as Software Design, Embedded Development, Game Design, Digital Media, Windows Phone 7, IT Challenge and others.

The Armenia team, called X-Tech, will compete in the software design competition, the newspaper writes.
