The Municipal Council of Alfortville, France, has unanimously voted for the recognition of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic.
The Council also decided to provide financial assistance to the Armenian population of Artsakh. Alfortville Deputy Mayor Garo Khachikian announced this on Twitter.
