Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh on violation of the humanitarian truce by Azerbaijan.

"We strongly condemn the treacherous violation by Azerbaijan of the agreements reached with the mediation of the Russian Federation on a ceasefire for humanitarian purposes for the exchange of prisoners of war and the bodies of the dead. Especially glaring is the fact that the tripartite alliance of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and international terrorists launched an offensive immediately after the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh announced a ceasefire within the framework of a humanitarian truce. By its actions, Azerbaijan again demonstrated that it is a rogue country that does not fulfill its obligations even within 5 minutes.

Today's treacherous attack is yet another convincing proof that Azerbaijan is using negotiations solely as a screen for preparing military actions. Under the current circumstances, the international community can stop the rogue country in only one way - by recognizing the Republic of Artsakh, which will provide the necessary legal mechanisms to guarantee peace and security for both our republic and the entire region," the statement says.
