The battles were going on the same way before the ceasefire was announced last night and before the establishment of the ceasefire today, and they were especially heated in the southern direction. This is what representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan told reporters today.

“Overall, the adversary was trying to ensure its advancement, but this was suspended by the Armenian Armed Forces. During the battles, as of yesterday and before noon, the adversary suffered nearly 200 human casualties and lost 3 UAVs, 4 vehicles and other minor equipment,” he said, adding that even though the adversary was more active hours before the announcement of ceasefire, the Armenian troops thwarted all advancements.
