As of this moment, the ceasefire is being mainly maintained, even though there are some provocations being made in certain places, and our side has responded to those provocations. This is what representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan told reporters today.

“In particular, before the ceasefire was announced, small groups of sabotage-reconnaissance troops of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan made an attempt to penetrate into the city of Hadrut, and after the establishment of ceasefire, there were small battles, and the groups were neutralized. After the establishment of ceasefire, as it is clearly stated in the statement of the foreign ministers, it was allowed to approach one of the sections of the Defense Army and take a few dead bodies, but after that, the process was terminated since the troops were taking advantage of this to make provocations. This is why we officially declare that from now on, such cases will only be allowed in the presence of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross,” he said.
