The Turkish ship Oruc Reis will conduct seismic research in the Eastern Mediterranean, not far from the Greek islands, from October 12 to 22, RIA Novosti reported citing the Office of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography of the Turkish Navy.

Turkey has issued another Navtex international warning. The respective statement said that the Oruc Reis will conduct the research together with the Ataman and Cengizhan ships.

The Daily Sabah reports that the research will be carried out south of the Greek island of Kastellorizo.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu took to Twitter to reflect on this news, and he noted the name of the ship.
