Large-scale hostilities continue in Hadrut area. Vahram Poghosyan, spokesperson for the President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), stated this Monday morning on Facebook.

“The enemy [Azerbaijani army], concentrating large numbers of forces in that direction, attempts to invade the city in every way. The [Artsakh] Defense Army is waging hard battles for every inch of land,” Poghosyan added.

On September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh, targeting the civilian population, too. On the same day, martial law was declared both in Armenia and Artsakh. A humanitarian ceasefire has come into force as of noon on October 10, but it has been violated by the Azerbaijani army.
