Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov says Moscow highly appreciates the fact that the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan came to the Russian Federation and the work they have done, including the decision on declaring a humanitarian ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, RIA Novosti reports.

“We highly appreciate the fact that the two ministers responded to President Putin’s initiative and came to Moscow. We also highly appreciate the work that has been done by Presidents Putin and Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan,” Peskov told reporters when asked how he assesses the results of the talks.

Peskov stressed that the long talks of Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov with his Armenian and Azerbaijani counterparts were also the result of that work.

“Now we are following the situation and receiving reports on violations committed by both sides, but we believe that the implementation of the reached agreements is extremely important in order for us to fully renounce hostilities and start taking political and diplomatic measures for the settlement of this conflict,” Peskov stated.
