YEREVAN. – As a result of the criminal investigation carried out in collaboration with the Investigative Committees of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), it was determined that from September 27 to October 12, the civilian population of more than 120 civilian settlements of Artsakh became the target of attacks by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, 25 Artsakh civilians were killed, and more than 100 civilians were wounded, the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed.

Also, the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict has been grossly violated by the Azerbaijani army

The Azerbaijani military attacks have damaged critical civilian infrastructure and private property.

The investigation has revealed that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces continue to use missiles and military aviation against the civilian population of Artsakh, some of which are cluster munitions prohibited by international humanitarian law.

The investigation has also revealed that the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, in gross violation of the norms of the UN General Assembly Declaration on Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism, has engaged international terrorist groups in the armed conflict. The respective facts are being examined and will receive a proper legal assessment.
