The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)  State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons has released a statement which reads as follows:

"Considering the announcement of the ceasefire in the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict zone on October 10, 2020 for humanitarian purposes through the mediation of the Russian Federation, (…) the AR [Artsakh Republic] State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons expresses its readiness to carry out the humanitarian actions mentioned in the statement.

The leadership of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army has ordered all divisions to cease hostilities on October 10, 2020 at 12:00.

The commission has started preparations within the framework of its powers and, in case of strict observance of the ceasefire regime by the Azerbaijani side and stability of the situation on the line of contact, it is ready to carry out mutual humanitarian actions.”
