The French government condemns the violation of the ceasefire agreements in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This is what a representative of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs said during a briefing today, calling on the sides to the conflict to strictly observe the conditions agreed upon in Moscow, TASS reports.
“France condemns the continuation of violence no matter where it arises from and calls on the sides to put an end to it,” the representative said and recalled that France “welcomes the humanitarian ceasefire that entered into force on October 10, 2020.” “Today, it is extremely necessary that the sides strictly observe the reached agreements which will provide the opportunity to move towards complete cessation of hostilities,” the representative said.
According to the diplomat, “France, which is a co-chairing country of the OSCE Minsk Group, is fully ready to support the resumption of negotiations without any condition in order to achieve a political settlement of the conflict.”
