Garo Paylan, an Armenian member of the Turkish parliament, has submitted a written proposal to the legislature to study the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) issue.
According to Akunq.net, Paylan's proposal specifically states that the respective petitioners demand that a study be conducted in the Turkish parliament so that the latter take responsibility for studying the following issues: The Karabakh issue be thoroughly studied, the steps that Turkey needs to take in order to ensure lasting peace by concluding a ceasefire be clarified, the steps that can be taken by Turkey—a member of the OSCE Minsk Group—should be clarified, and to study the impact which the Turkish government's war-supporting policy is having on regional and domestic political peace.
