Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko and Enrique Mora, EU Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs, European External Action Service, discussed the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, and they stressed the need to maintain the ceasefire which was agreed upon by the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides in Moscow on October 10.
In connection with the settlement of [the] Nagorno-Karabakh [conflict], the need to maintain a humanitarian ceasefire—which was agreed upon in Moscow on October 10 on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin—was stressed, according the statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry following the results Wednesday's consultations.
