Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan has posted the following on his Facebook page:

“This war is not a new war. This war has been waged against us Armenians for at least a couple of centuries.

The aim is to turn our nation and state into a poor and helpless décor and wipe us off the political map and, if possible, annihilate us.

We Armenians prevented this during the Battle of Sardarapat, the battle that Garegin Nzhdeh led for the survival of the Armenian nation and during the battle for the liberation of Artsakh. We Armenians have changed the formula, and this is not pardoned, and this is what they want to change.

If we cede Artsakh, we will cede Meghri and then Yerevan. We must stand strong. There is no other option. We have to stand strong until the end.

Artsakh is our homeland, our home. The homeland and the home are not ceded AT ANY PRICE.

Long live the eternal Armenian people.

We will win. We will unquestionably win.”
