Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan met with UN Resident Representative in Armenia Shombi Sharp and discussed the situation caused as a result of Azerbaijan’s large-scale military aggression against Artsakh.

Grigoryan touched upon Turkey’s involvement in the war and its support to Azerbaijan and talked about the danger of international terrorism in the region and beyond as a result of the deployment of armed foreign terrorists from Turkey in the region.

Stressing the fact that Azerbaijan is targeting civilians, Grigoryan touched upon the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh and discussed the opportunities for addressing the crisis on the spot. In this context, he emphasized that the real humanitarian disaster is in Artsakh and that the direct support of international partners is necessary to overcome the disaster.
